Her Prophet Speaks
~So, our nascent High Priestess, well, she went a little mad. She has a number of both Past and Present Life Issues that she is dealing with, but she is still dedicated to Serving The Sisterhood. Your Prayers and Healing Thoughts are requested.
And that is all I shall say upon the matter....
Meanwhile, I will keep chipping away at The Liber. I spoke with Le-Le about going down to the Denny's in Lancaster at two or three in the morning a few times a month to work on it. I've done some of my best writing in coffee shops in the middle of the wee hours. She said, with some emphasis I might add, “We can afford twenty bucks!” I pointed out since it would only be me, it should cost less.
Once I recover from the Drama of the past few weeks, I'll take that drive with notes, pens and clipboard, probably after Nov 1st when we have money again.
At the top of my To Do List is the long pending Women's Shelter section of Part Five. But right behind it is equally long pending section on the Godmothers of SH, my essay on how the following Feminist Icons have inspired and shaped the creation and direction of SH: Valerie Solanas, Shulamith Firestone, Donna Haraway, Mary Daly, Andrea Dworkin and Susie Bright. Feel free to web search them all.
I'm still struggling with The Despair I felt at the beginning of October, but what else is new? I can die or I can keep doing the Work. And I'm not even close to being ready to die...
...and so it is.
