Life in The Desert [redux]

~It is still 84° at half past one in the morning. I suspect the heat has baked right into the desert floor. Only 13% humidity as well. And another scorcher today. Hopefully the predicted thunder storms will cool us off by Thursday evening.

The good news for us is that we didn't have to move in this weather. Would have killed at least one of us.

Life in The Desert

~It is presently 110° and 8% humidity. Again, staying inside, likely all day as we have all we need for now. In fact, I'll probably go back to sleep soon. The Spanish and their kin are wise in these matters.

Random

~Generally speaking, the swamp cooler does a pretty good jib of keeping things comfy in here. But the highs of the past two days have overwhelmed its capacity. It's around 80° in here again today. Not comfy. And that's with the small window AC unit chugging away in Le-Le's bedroom. *sigh*

Once this heat breaks, we'll be fine again. But we have one more day of it at least. I miss central AC. *prays for rain*
