I open a file
And start typing
A Künstlerroman
Of my own Life
I get a few
‘Smart sentences’
Onto The Page
I am pleased
But soon
The Pain of
All those old wounds
Begins to throb
Deep in my Spirit
[not all that deep tbh]
And I retreat
Again
I have tried this
At least a dozen times
In the past decade or so
I wonder if it is really
Worth The Pain
To dig all this up
So late in the day…
…I think I need a stenographer
