nebrisOk, kitty news update:
Mr Biscuits is doing much better. Active and eating and purring when petted. His nose is still a bit dry, but not warm. And he's still a bit out of it. Of course so am I.
Still taking him to the vet just to check him out, ya know, blood work and x-rays. The Wife, who has had apx 30 to 40 cats in her lifetime and once worked at a no-kill shelter, said she thinks he was 'feeling' George about to pass and might have been 'giving him energy'. Cats are mystical creatures after all.
This morning when, as is his regular habit, he jumped on my bed and flopped when I petted him [purrs were forthcoming] I told him, "Do not do that again!"
I'm cancelling the vet appointment Saturday because it's going to f'ing 111° to 115° and that ain't gonna be good for ether of us. I'll reschedule for next week when it will only be in the low 100's. [this IS The Desert] Meantime, I'll just keep giving him love and my own healing energy, which I suspect I can afford better than his furry ass.
