Her Prophet Chills

~I managed to mostly shake off my Writer's Blues by sleeping them away. Still a little bit twitchy, but not 'jump out of my skin' twitchy. Trust me, I'll take that state of being any day and twice on Bredsday. lol

I did a word count and I've gotten The Explanation up to 75,000 words. Not bad if I do say so myself. I estimate that puts me at three quarters done. For all my bitchin' about getting The Temple off the ground, finishing this book is Key. And I'm starting to feel like I might actually pull that off.

Also thinking about modifying the title. Presently the full title is In Which Her Prophet Explains The Temple Of The Pentavalence. I'm thinking of making that a sub-title and adding The Message of The Fifth Wave as the main title. The idea comes from the opening of The Temple's Mission Statement: “The Temple is a Fifth Wave Feminism in that it leaps ahead of a nascent Fourth Wave, still incrementally emerging from the Third Wave, to an entirely new construct. It is not a Separatism or even a Dominance, but a Completeness and therefore a New Beginning.”

Anyway, just a thought for now...

Life in The Desert

~It is presently 29° and 19% humidity. Cold and dry. But rain is predicted within 36 hours. I'm sure all our sinuses are going to feel just fucking lovely...

~It's cold and windy and the humidity is up 67%. Good sleeping weather. And I am going to sleep some more.

Got a AM appointment up at Rural Health in Mojave. More Happy Pills finally. Got a few other errands to run. So back in the rack for a while. Need to shift my sched.

Might be raining too and my fellow SoCal motorists tend to totally lose their fucking shit when that happens. Me, I've driven rat-fucked old Nu Yawk taxis in near whiteout blizzards, so I'm cool. Just gotta watch out for everybody else.
