I was talking with *E* about Gretl and She clarified Her earlier statements. Gretl did not 'hate' you, but was deeply conflicted. She was very angry at you and blamed you for all her misfortunes, of course being very much in denial about her own role in all of them. But she always loved you, even at the end.
