The Festival of The Turning [days 361-365/6] {Dec 22nd through Dec 26th/Dec27th on Leap Years}

The Days of The Festival of The Turning are called First Turningday, Second Turningday, etc. I expect most will simply shorten that to First Turning and so on.

First Turningday; This is a Day of Deep Reflection and Assessment. We meditate upon The Year That Had Passed. We list goals achieved and goals not achieved. We examine what worked, what didn't work and what failed, which are not the same.

Second Turningday; This a Day of Preparation for The Festival itself. We clean and cook and bake and stock our larders. We primp ourselves and lay out our Party Dress.

Third Turningday; This is a Day of Excessive Indulgence and Bad Behavior. For the Younglings, the day starts with the receiving of gifts and then they are allowed to eat as much cake and candy as they like. For the Adults, this is then followed by dancing, drinking, drugging, fucking without restraint or regret.

Certain members of The Sisterhood will be Festival Guardians. They will abstain and maintain Basic Services, watching the Younglings while doing their best to prevent overdoses and fatalities. Some will do this every year: our Sober Sisters, who will be the Elder Guardians. The others will volunteer one year and then join the festivities during the next few years.

Fourth Turningday; This is a Day of Collapse. Those who have Celebrated will sleep off the festivities of previous day and the Festival Guardians with catch their breath.

However, on Leap Years, this would be a Second Day of Indulgence and the Day of Collapse would be pushed forward one day. Of course it is expected that some will collapse anyway and no shame will be attached... though some teasing will be allowed.

Fifth Turningday; This is a Day of Cleansing, light fasting, sweat loges, saunas, yoga and walking, etc. The Sisterhood Physically, Mentally and Spiritually clears itself out and prepares for The Kalends of Primaria and the beginning of The New Year.

However, on a Leap Year, this day would be the Day of Collapse that usually falls upon Fourth Turningday.

Sixth Turningday; [Leap Years only] During Leap Years, this is the Day of Cleansing that usually falls upon Fifth Turningday.

E says, “The Creatrix, The Goddess as you would say, is Present in all things, in all the Elements of Creation, according to their due, and all of Creation is related, from both stone to human. She is Present in a stone, though Her Presence there is far smaller than a tachyon. Humans, on the other hand, are utterly suffused with Her Presence, as your Spirits - of which We are part - are mirrors of Hers. And as you look at yourself in a mirror, so seek Her within your own Self. She IS there, not completely, but more than She will be found elsewhere, though you must also seek Her elsewhere in order to continue The Great Search, the only valid reason for Existence.

It will not surprise many of you that the vast majority of human concepts regarding deities and their nature is anthropocentric nonsense, evolved out of tales told around camp fires thousands of years ago and based upon a combination of fear and the echoes of race memory.

Let me go straight to the point: there is no 'God', not as most of you conceptualize 'God'. However, there is a Source of All.

But even my race, which in its prime explored in ways that you will not be capable of for a very long time, could never actually find said Source. We did however find Its Shadows and Echoes and from that we determined a number of things.

First, as Its Name implies, It is in All, Its Creative Energy imbuing everything throughout all of Creation with Its basic nature. Because your presently bi-gendered race rightly perceives Creative Energy as Feminine, calling The Source of All “The Goddess” or, better still, “The Creatrix”, is an accurate and effective way of labeling It.

Second, because The Source of All is a functionally infinite concept, even my race needed to 'break it down' into more workable elements. The details of how we did that are not relevant here as they are mostly beyond your race's present capabilities.

But the basic concept is well within your reach, what Buddhists call Tulpas, a manifested Thought Form. By focusing individual or collective Will upon a specific Aspect of The Creatrix, meaning a specifically Named Goddess – such as Astarte, Kali, or, Bride – a Tulpa may be invoked out of The Creatrix, a part of Her that can be understood and related to, and therefor directed.

As we are all part of The Source of All, this is really just reaching into our own Being. All is within each of us.

But...once one has invoked any Aspect one must attend to two things. First, Tuplas can take on a life of their own, so attend closely to them. And second, they live through your focus of your Will, so if your Practice fades, they will likely fade as well.”

She also has a rather harsher admonition regarding our deities: “Being slaves to your gods will be the path to your destruction, so stop it! Your deities are created by you, not – as far too many of you falsely believe – the other way round. You have allowed one deity to kill off another many times before, but only by denying that you created each deity in the first place.

Some of you try killing off all deities completely, but your race makes more every single day. It is past time for you to take control of your deities. They are your creatures, not you theirs.

Keep them while they are useful, but release them when they not longer serve you, and KILL them when they become a problem. Such is essential on your path to becoming gods yourselves…and such IS the Path of your race, like it or not.”
