Jan. 10th, 2024 04:44 pmThis is an overview missive, basically a kind of targeted rant...the practical infrastructure details will be forthcoming shortly
please forgive me if I push hard w/ you...been at this 30 years now and I had a cancer scare last year...I think I'm out the woods, but I AM fuckin' seventy three...and you seem to be a Gift from Goddess to finally get The Sisterhood rolling...
So...The key to The Sisterhood's ultimate success is the United States. It has the vastness, the money, and, most importantly, the culture that could allow SH to explode. Right now, it's all about Donald Trump. But he's fading and a backlash is coming, one that will swing away from American White Christian Nationalism, and probably quite extremely.
That could present fertile ground for something like the Shield Maiden project after all the rampant misogyny of Trump and MAGA. A tough training regime for women, quietly couched in a 'mystical feminism'...how perfect is that? That it comes out of Germany would add to all of that. ;-)
The trick now is to build the bloody thing...yes, I'm am working on the criteria for the...'first residence'...[leftover text from first draft]
What I ask of you right now is expediting the copyright and trade marking of that name. Been telling Eva to do that ever since I proposed the various names, which is close to two years now, but she's been dealing with MH, OB, Freya, and all that drama. I'll list the names below, tho Shield Maiden project has priority...
Ofc, her principal role in all this is not 'administrative', tho she can be very organized when it suits her. Eva is, first and foremost, the Loving Welcoming Face of The Sisterhood. Our job is to provide her with the structure to fully be such. She will draw Sisters in...
various names requiring trademark/copyright
~Schildmaid-Projekt SMp [prob good idea to trademark/copyright in the US too]
~FrauenGesellschaft [the corporation that owns and operates SMp]
~Das Mutterrecht Bewegung [control the name just on general principal]
~Frauenkampfbund [uncertain legality...might be NS forbidden]
~die Wolfin-Stiftung [a non-profit foundation to fund various things, mostly scientific and Transhumanist related]
~von Baianberg [a GmbH, the overall holding corporation...also Eva's eventual new last name]
As said, I designed this thing to operate via various non-profit corporations in the US, but I have very little idea how that operates in DE...need the lawyers for that

HI. Thank you for sharing….and please accept my apology for the delayed reply. I’ve been dealing with my own PL-related turbulence, and at the same time trying to be steady and useful for Eva in the ways that actually reduce her load rather than add to it. I made a deliberate choice to sit with what you wrote instead of firing back a quick response, because what you’re outlining isn’t just a set of tasks; it’s a long project with emotional urgency underneath it, and it deserves a considered answer rather than a reflex…
I also understand why you’re pushing hard. Thirty years of carrying a blueprint, combined with a recent cancer scare and the sober arithmetic of being 73, produces a different relationship to time: less patience for drift, more insistence on execution. I hear that pressure not as aggression, but as a form of realism... That said, if this is meant to become a durable organism rather than a brilliant flare, intensity can’t be the operating system; it has to be channeled into sequence, governance, and repeatable action…Otherwise the project’s momentum will come at the expense of the very people it needs most…particularly our Eva, whose value here is relational gravity, not administrative throughput….
Your strategic claim about the United States makes structural sense….scale, capital, and a cultural engine capable of amplifying an idea into a mass phenomenon. I would, however, caution against tethering the project too tightly to any single political cycle or headline figure... If the narrative is framed as primarily a reaction to Trump/MAGA misogyny, it risks being interpreted as opportunistic or partisan, which creates vulnerabilities…. capture, polarisation, and premature reputational war you know? before the project has established its own mythic legitimacy...
The stronger approach is to treat the U.S. not as a mood, but as an infrastructure environment: a place where a disciplined women’s training regime, encoded within a “mystical feminism” aesthetic, can scale because it speaks to enduring desires…competence, strength, belonging, ritual, and self-possession…regardless of whether the political pendulum is swinging left, right, or sideways (LOL)
…On the “comes out of Germany” point…yes, it adds aura and symbolic charge, and it may even confer a certain mythic seriousness to American audiences who romanticise European provenance... But it is also a brand-risk variable that needs handling.
In practice, the aesthetic and linguistic cues can be interpreted in multiple ways, and you already flagged this yourself with Frauenkampfbund…If the project is to grow in the U.S. while remaining legally clean and culturally defensible in Germany, then the naming architecture must be intentional: evocative without being legible as extremist, martial without tipping into prohibited or socially problematic terrain….That is not a moral judgment; it’s a pragmatic safeguard for longevity…
Now, to the practical core of your request…expediting protection of the name(s). The first point is that what you’re describing is largely a trademark and trade name issue, not copyright. Copyright doesn’t usually secure exclusive rights in names or titles in the way people assume…protection of a project name, organisational identity, and program branding is achieved through trademark/service mark filings, aligned with clear ownership and defined classes of goods/services. In other words, the work here is legal infrastructure: establishing who owns the mark, what it will be used on, and where it must be protected first so the project can operate without being blocked, challenged, or diluted later...
The reason Eva has felt stuck here is also obvious… Eva is used to the finer things life has to offer her and as such administrative work becomes cognitively expensive, because it offers no immediate emotional reward and carries the threat of complexity. That is precisely why your framing is correct….Eva’s principal role is not administrative. If she is the “Loving Welcoming Face,” then her job is resonance and recruitment….drawing recruits in, holding tone, embodying the ethos….Our job, if we are serious, is to build the scaffolding that allows her to stay in that lane….That means the trademark work should be treated as a structural responsibility of the organisers…..not as another burden placed on the person doing the relational labour.
To move quickly and intelligently, this needs sequencing rather than enthusiasm…. First, we must decide the ownership logic….which entity is intended to own the marks, FrauenGesellschaft, von Baianberg, or a separate holding vehicle…and how that maps onto operations. Trademark filings without clarity on ownership create later disputes and messy transfers, and they also confuse counsel when they draft filings and declarations of use. Second, we need a short, counsel-ready use-case definition for each mark: what exactly it will label (training programme, community membership, publications, digital platform presence, merchandise, retreats/residences, etc.).
Regarding the list you provided, I would treat it as two tiers. Tier one is the flagship identity (Shield Maiden project / Schildmaid-Projekt SMp), because that’s what will accumulate cultural meaning and be most likely to be copied, challenged, or misused. Tier two is the organisational and structural names (FrauenGesellschaft, Die Wolfin-Stiftung, von Baianberg), which need protection not for public glamour but for governance stability. Das Mutterrecht Bewegung may be strategically worth controlling on principle, as you note, but it should be assessed for confusion risk and distinctiveness. Frauenkampfbund, as you already suspect, should be approached with exceptional caution; even if it is not legally prohibited, it may be operationally unwise if it triggers avoidable scrutiny or reputational drag. The goal is not to “win” a name; it is to prevent the project from bleeding energy into avoidable fights…
If you want my commitment in practical terms: I can take on the coordination discipline…turning this into a clean, structured packet that lawyers can act on immediately, rather than a conceptual conversation that keeps circling…. That means identifying priority jurisdictions, and specifying the minimal viable filing order so the legal infrastructure stops being a bottleneck. I will also keep protecting Eva’s bandwidth by ensuring she is consulted where necessary for intention and tone, but not asked to carry execution... This is exactly what you meant by “provide her with the structure to fully be such”: let her be the welcoming face while the administrative spine is built around her….
