You need a bigger audience. Right now, you have, what, eight people reading you in contrast with 300+ on LJ. That's how many friends I have on Journalfen, and I haven't bothered to post to my personal journal there in months.
No, your observation is accurate. For me on-line blogging is Journaling as Performance Art...and LJ is where it all began for me, hence the attachment.
I got so bored I actually checked facebook - pointless. How can I get invested in relationships that consist of uncontextualized little blurbs? The frequent "esoteric" theme just makes it more annoying.
