I'm not sure Trump is suffering from Dementia. He's never been sharpest tool in the shed, but he always had cunning and a boundless energy for The Grift. He was really good at that for a long time. But he's old now and tired. With the Presidency, he's riding a tiger he cannot get off of. And it's wearing on him down badly....

Just watch the length of time it takes for him to forget what he just said. It was never all that long but seems to be down to a few minutes. It's the shrinking timespan that has people suspecting dementia as opposed to stupidity (which tends to be more static).
