~There's an interesting thread going on over on Reddit: What's your secret that could literally ruin your life if it came out? As with so many confessional paradigms, it's proving quite popular.
It made me think about my own secrets and I came to a conclusion that fascinated me. I have no secrets that could ruin my life. I used to have some. Not one of them have that power over me anymore. Some have no power because the statute of limitations now applies, but even those have no 'moral power' over me.
That is a very freeing revelation. I'm enjoying that feeling today. And I wonder does that mean that I've become a Good Person? Or is it that have I simply transcended 'common morality'? *laughs*
