First World Problems

~DW is running pretty slow right now. I expect it's all the LJ refugees either rediscovering their semi-abandoned journals [like moi] or starting new ones.

LJ Up Date

~I was able to get to my own LJ, but I still cannot comment nor post. I scrolled back 250 entrees and only about a dozen of them were actual friend's posts. The rest were RSS feed entrees. I had to 'push' to do so, lots of 'double clicking' and 'page refreshing'.

Gonna hunker down on DW until this blows over. But I won't abandon LJ, though I suppose it's possible LJ might abandon me. *sigh*

"Once again, the crossposter from warrenellis.com to this LJ account has died. It might be fallout from the DDoS attack LJ's supposedly been under this week, or from whatever unknown ballsup stopped LJ from working last week, or perhaps the internets have just given the fuck up. Who knows.

It's time for me to take LJ off the list of things I need to check once a week to see if they're working. The crossposter will be switched off for good in two weeks, and this will become a static account.

~Goddess Fuck, I'm in a foul humor. This LJ bullshit isn't helping, but it's not the cause. There are 'personal matters' that I won't air publicly because they're, well...personal.

But they manifested in Family Rejection Dreams, which always leave me drained, depressed and angry. These were the worst of that variety, where they redesign the Ice Palace – the brownstone in which I grew up – in such a way as to literally physically exclude me from living there.

I wasn't really ready to get up, but that shit made it the better option. Now that I've caffeinated, supplemented, medicated, eaten and ranted, I'll take a nap to 'reset'. *sigh*

I sure the fuck hope that works. I've become far too used to being comfortable in my own skin to sit with this fucking feeling. /ack
