Note that all the Doomer/Peak Energy/End of Technology scenarios posit regressive socio-economic paradigms where, because of biological necessity, men once again become essential and women would be required to return to their 'traditional' roles as 'wife and mother'. Life in The Desert

~It is presently 87° and 9% humidity. It was 45° and apx 70% twelve hours ago. My sinuses are having 'issues' with this, especially since one of our humidifiers died.

The weather forecasts have been threatening us with daily highs in the low-to-mid 70's for over a week now, but when the day shows up they're in the mid-to-upper 80's. It got up to 89° today. I said last night, "This is SoCal. We can have an Indian Summer in mid November." lol
