"Bredsday is The Fifth Day. Bride is both an ancient Celtic Goddess and a Catholic Saint. She is a Triple Goddess and a Keeper of The Eternal Flame. Poetry is sacred to Her. Saint Brigid’s Day falls on Imbolc, also a 'fire festival'. She is chosen so that we may 'meditate upon The Light, upon The Flame'. She is also connected to Her Celtic Sister Goddess Epona, who comes the next day and Bride's Light can serve as Epona's guide."

"The Fifth Day is not a religious holiday per se, but rather meant to be a day of relaxation and reflection."

~So, my new copy of the voice activated writing software is here. I'll have Le-Le install it for me soon. [I'm hopeless with that shit] Then I have to 'train' it...

...and starting Facing The Page again.

I'm of mixed feelings about that. I hate my Writer's Blues, the feeling of angst and deflation I get when I finish anything significant. I call it 'moody', but in truth I get fucking nuts.

On the other hand, not writing is making me even more nuts than that. It's been a year since I finished a fiction piece [Diplomatic Formality] and nearly nine months since I finished a non-fiction piece [Her Prophet Explains: Addendum D [Calendar for A New Matriarchy]]. The last time I went that long was at Hotel Hell ten years ago on the approach to my fiftieth birthday and I wound up actively planning my suicide.

We're not going there again.

On a related note – writing and me being crazy – I've been looking for this quote, a comment I made to Brad Hicks about why a new religious paradigm was necessary because it could move things forward in ways that 'rational' paradigms could not; something about “It is Written” 'getting things out of committee'. Can't find for shit and it's bugging me. I want to add it to the 'Triple Economy' part of The Explanation.

Generally speaking, I'm pretty listless today...
