Goddess Fuck, I Hate This Election Season!

~I think the thing I hate the most about is that I find myself more or less arguing for a candidate I do not trust. Or at least who I do not believe will govern in our collective best interests. That would be Obama for those of you just tuning in.

While it is patently obvious that a Romney White House would be a total fucking disaster, one that would make Dubya's look like a masterpiece of statesmanship by comparison, I fear that the best we'll get out of a second Obama term is just more of things getting worse a bit slower than with the GOP.

And even that I am uncertain of. He's been a wishy-washy Centrist so far. Who's to say he won't go full-on Austerity and gut all the rest of the New Deal and Great Society. I know some hope that, once he's a Lame Duck, he'll go full-on Progressive. I ain't holding my breath on that one.

Even if he wanted to, he has know that such could very well mean not surviving another four years. When I reflect upon that, I'm a bit surprised he's still alive after the first three and half years. America's racism runs deep and hot.

Beyond all my own personal issues, this is what has been eating at me. That in turn contributes to my frustration and anger at myself for 'not moving faster' along my Path, especially when I know that I truly am dancing as fast as I fucking can.
