Life in The Desert/Random Mashup
Jul. 1st, 2013 01:13 am~It is presently 83° and 31% humidity. It topped out at 113° yesterday and 110° is predicted for today. The various weather outlets are saying 'the heatwave ends today', but we have 105° plus temps forecast for the next ten days and 100° plus temps till the end of the month.
I have a heat hangover. These past two days have left me totally wrung out. The swamp cooler is okay most of the time, but we really need central AC for weather like this. We were always able to comfortably ride it out over at the old house.
At least we're not recovering from a hellacious move like this time last year. And at least last year the heatwave hit after we'd finished the move. I'd likely be dead otherwise, not joking...
