nebris~It is presently 106° and 14% humidity. As I keep saying, that humidity is too fucking high. Normally around here at that temperature, it would be five or six percent at most. But this heat seems to becoming from the southwest so I assume it's carrying moisture in from the Pacific.
However, this pattern tends toward what E has said is the future of this area; because of climate change, the Antelope Valley, which is presently scrub desert, will get greater rainfall from increasingly violent Pacific storms that push further and further north and transform into sub-tropical savanna, possibly in only a handful of decades.
